Dolly released five albums in 1970 and Brooklyn's premier Dolly Parton cover band will be celebrating the work's 50th anniversary (one year late) at The Cutting Room this December!
Of course, you'll still hear your favorite hits like Jolene and 9 - 5 but you'll also be guided on a tour of the hidden gems from two solo albums, two more with Porter, and a great live album featuring everyone's favorite ballad - Coat of Many Colors.
Doll Parts 1970 will be arranged for a nine-piece band and feature Mike Nolan on lap steel guitar. Join us for a deep dive into the year that kicked off an incredible decade for Dolly fans.

Mosey on over to Nitehawk to get your southern-style music, movie, and food fix with our COUNTRY BRUNCHIN! Each COUNTRY BRUNCHIN event begins with a thirty-minute set of the sweet live sound of local country bands and is then followed by the grittiest, stylish, and sling-shooting westerns of all time. We also serve up a heart-breaker of a brunch so tasty you’ll think you died and went to Publix.
For 2019, we’ve dedicated the entire Country Brunchin’ series to that Smokey Mountain Songbird, the Leading Lady of Country, Ms. Dolly Parton, and we’ve invited Brooklyn’s finest all-Dolly cover band, THE DOLL PARTS to reside over the preshow.
Food’s on at 10:15am, music starts at 10:45am & the movie rolls at 11:15am.
